Style in White :: Healthy Mango and Banana SmoothieHello friends! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Sorry for being MIA. I’m not going to lie; it’s quite difficult to blog on a regular basis during the summer, since there are just so many things going on.

My morning coffee keeps me moving during the morning, and in the afternoon right after lunch, I like to have a cup of tea. But when the summer heat gets unbearable, all I want is a freshly made smoothie, and my favorite combination is mango/banana! It’s so easy to make and all you need is just a few ingredients. Remember that breakfast smoothie in a jar? Well, the ingredients used for that recipe can be reused for this one! It’s like killing two birds with one stone (I’ve never killed a bird by the way, and I don’t intend to do it)!

INGREDIENTS

Serving :: 1

  • 3/4 cup almond milk, preferably unsweetened
  • 1 cup of frozen mango (cubes)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp almond butter

DIRECTION

Put the frozen fruits and pour the almond milk into the blender. Mix everything together. Add the almond butter and blend again.

I didn’t think I’d use it so often. If you’re looking to buy one, you can try the Cuisinart. That’s the one I have. It comes with the blender jar, a chopping cup and four travel cups. The travel cups are really convenient especially if you like to prepare a smoothie for breakfast.
